LOL!!!!  My niece has the cutest little personality. I couldn't help photograph her in the backseat of my car lol!  She's always smiling and making faces.  She is going to be 2 in December and that's exciting and so sad.  She's growing way too fast!  Enjoy the art of backseat and rear view mirror photography haha!

My sister's visit from Arizona | CHATTANOOGA CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER

My sister, her daughter Alexis and her mother Teresa all gave back to Tennessee for a visit from Arizona.  This was the first time I got to meet my neice Alexis.  Let me tell you that she is the most adorable and has a BIG personality.  Our first stop for the day was CiCi's Pizza!  She totally stole my bowl of pasta lol!

Cupcakes from Sweet Stuff Bakery | CHATTANOOGA PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Very excited to show you these delicious cupcakes!  I actually won these cupcakes from Sweet Stuff Bakery.  She is awesome and super talented!  It couldn't have come at a better time.  My mother's birthday was September 23rd and I knew that they would be an awesome addition to her party.  I let her pick out her flavors and she chose to have Yellow cake strawberry filling with while chocolate icing.  I think our favorite part of the cupcakes were the strawberry icing.  My mother loves to have the icing on cakes with plain chips lol!  

Shannon is a great girl and very accommodating.  She even delivered them to me.  GREAT customer service!  I completely recommend her to everyone in the Chattanooga area!  Make sure you check out her facebook page and like it!  Sweet Stuff Bakery Make sure you stop by and give her some love and help spread the word!  Tell her Bridget sent you!!!

For inspiration, sometimes I think getting a culinary arts degree from Culinary Schools in Ohio would be a fun and delicious way enhance food photography.

Why I love photography | CHATTANOOGA PHOTOGRAPHER

As I sit here watching the documentary "Search for the Afghan girl" I start to think of why is it that I love photography so much?  What do I love most about photography? Why out of everything I have done does photography still hold my undivided passion.




Truth is I am that girl that just cruises through life and quits most things.  I have many talents, but none of them really held my interest long. Playing music, poetry, dancing, singing, sewing, fashion design, drawing, painting etc...  One of those I happen to do a lot of was drawing/painting.  I love it I am not going to deny it, but I feel like I can't get out what I want to with it.  My Grandmother is one of the best painters and drawers I know, and I marvel in the beauty of her work.  Sometimes I wish I had the ability to make these works of art I see her make.  See below a few of my drawings (sorry they are just photos of the art as my scanner is down right now)

As you can see they aren't the greatest, but they had potential.  Plus you can see how quickly I was to not finish them lol!

Photography happen to be one of the main things that really true caught my attention and kept it.  Photography runs in my family and many of my family members are great photographers in their own right.  This might just be in my genes.  I'm an artist through and through and logical things really throw me for a loop lol.  The main part of photography I love isn't taking the photos is viewing the photos.  I love to look at them.  I don't care if I know the person or object I love it!  Something draws me in and I can't stop looking at them.  I love that I can go back and revisit my past and reminisce.  I'm a normally shy person and I normally like to sit back and just people watch.  I like figuring out peoples personalities and I can do the same with photos.  I must also confess I'm NOSY lol!!!

 I love that I have photos like these below of myself when I was a baby.  I think everyone should have photos like these...  It's only a one time event! These photos make me smile.  This is why I love photography.  This is why I want to be that person to capture memories for families.  Stunning images that capture the essence of your lives.    Regardless of how much I annoy my family with taking photos of them at the moment I am taking them the always am thankful I am snapping them later.  (Woah was that a run on sentence or what? hahaha) Why do you love photography?  You don't have to be a photographer to love it.
